South Africa's dance scene is most known for its Deep House sub genres of AmaPiano and Gqom. Here Deep House is bigger than House, or any other genre for that matter. However most of the music coming out of this movement runs very much into the mainstream. Deep Warr's style tries to stay in the underground, infusing the sounds of Progressive, Deep-Tech and Tech-House instead of pop sounds which are preferred by almost all of the other producers coming out of this scene. Altough the Artist remains somewhat of a mystery Deep Warr's love for raw sounds are manifest in his dj sets & productions.
