The Nigerian- American artist was once a promising basketball recruit for Saint Francis before a physical altercation with a teammate cut his career short. When it came to music, the apple didn't fall far from the tree; his father, a music head, instilled in him an inevitable path to music as a youth. His music career started in 2012 but went overdrive a few months after his late mentor and very close friend Uzzo, a respected rapper, fatally died from a car accident. One of Victor's last conversations with him was to take his rap career seriously, which he did. In the corners of his Irvington apartment, he started recording in 2016 and fell in love with music again. In early 2022, Victor released a self-produced EP off his Cercle IN titled " I'm Different ft. Var Lewis.
