Puerto Rican DJ and producer Emiliano Martini is one of the Caribbean's leading DJs and a House- Techno producer with a truly global appeal. Raised on a wide musical diet of Latin music, new age and disco by his jazz musician father, Emiliano Martini produces Deep Tech / Minimal House / Experimental and Electronic music. Largely writing using analogue hardware, his deep grooves and minimal techno sound has been signed to several major labels including Nervous, Pleasure Zone and Lapsus Music, while his tracks have been remixed by DJ Rasoul, Sven Jaeger, CHKLTE and JNJS to name a few. Not just a producer with a truly global following, Emiliano is also a main player in the Caribbean’s dance music scene, with several name-checks from dance music bible Mixmag. He’s DJ’d at the region’s biggest events & Clubs, including Electric Daisy, Movement Getaway, Club Fifty Eight and the Corona Pro Surf Circuit and played alongside some of the biggest techno names including tINI, Gaiser, Seth Troxler, Danny Daze, Matthew Dear, Damian Lazarus and dozens more. Alongside that, Emiliano’s music has been played at some of the world’s best clubs, including London’s Egg, Barraca in Valencia and Movement in Detroit, while Emiliano has DJ’d at shows in Brooklyn, Seattle, Miami and Tampa. In 2012, he launched his first record label Proper Slap, which was a vehicle for Puerto Rican producers while he later started Proper Slap Limited which featured producers from around the world.
