Ekene Valentine Okonkwo, popularly known as VALOE, is a Nigerian singer/ songwriter, born and raised in Abia State before moving to Lagos, Nigeria at the age of 16, he is indigenous to idemilli South LGA, Ojoto, Anambra State. He grew up with music as the recurring presence/theme in his life and would always write melodious lines about his life and life around him for as long as he could remember. He really got into music fully while in college, playing the guitar and picking up music production as well as honing his skills a top rising Afro-fusion vocalist. Currently based in Atlanta, he has managed to fuse both worlds of afrobeats, R&B, soul, jazz with a touch of his dynamic and uniquely soothing style into his own alternative sound to produce wonderful colors within his melodies.
