Ian Roller is a Los Angeles native writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist. His primary instrument is the saxophone, but that doesn’t always guide his creative output... As a saxophonist, flutist and clarinetist specializing in fx pedals/sound design, Ian has worked live and in studio with a wide variety of major and independent artists, bands and producers, from Portugal. the Man to Chloe Bailey, Yung Gravy, Bryson Tiller, Jeff Gitty, Mr. Carmack, Stevie Wonder, Thundercat and many more, also contributing as saxophonist and engineer to his first Grammy nominated work in 2023 for a video game score via composer Austin Wintory. In addition to releasing his debut album in January of 2024, Ian Roller is also working on the sophomore Genr8r album, just released a fully improvised live album with The Little Debbies, and has several other projects on the way…
