JunesEightyEight is an up and coming hip hop artist out of Dallas, Texas. His style brings an old school hip hop vibe mixed in with a new school twist of today’s hip hop sound. With sounds and lyrics heavily influenced by rappers such as Wale, his story telling skills are beginning to show forth how much in depth and in tune he can be when it comes to making music. June has been gradually stepping into his own while gaining steam with every project he has put out, with which one of his happiest accolades he has received was for his song “Deep Ellum” (featuring fellow Dallas, Texas native and hip hop artist Guyceritops) was featured in Central Track, which is a music blog based out of Dallas. With more to accomplish with his music, there are a few goals June has in mind: from headlining the legendary House of Blues, to even winning a Grammy. Yet one thing June really pushes for in his journey of being an artist is bringing positive and uplifting vibes with his music. But don’t let that fool you, he can still get gritty and show he capable of sparring when need be with songs such as “Villain” which can be found on one of his latest albums called “The Hero”. JunesEightyEight is constantly pushing to prove to not only himself but to the listeners that even the Hero has to play the Villian from time to time to show that not everything that’s looks right, is right and not everything that’s bad, is truly bad.
