Founded in 1998, the University of Rochester Midnight Ramblers are an internationally-recognized TTBB a cappella group. Dedicated to performance and innovation, the Ramblers have taken their music across the country, touring from New York City to Los Angeles, and anywhere in between. The Ramblers have released twelve full-length studio albums and have been selected to appear on the acclaimed compilation albums BOCA (Best of College A Cappella), Sing, Ripple Effect, and Voices Only. Their recorded work has been awarded countless accolades - most recently, their 2017 cover of Adele’s “Hello” was nominated for the Recorded A Cappella Review Board’s Track of the Year award. The Ramblers also have an extensive performance history in the prestigious ICCA (International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella) competition. In 2020, 2018, and 2016, the group advanced to semifinals, receiving awards for Outstanding Vocal Percussion and Outstanding Arrangement; in 2005, the group advanced to Finals and took 3rd Place. Above all, the Ramblers place a priority on reaching audiences in the community they call home - Rochester.
