Biography

After years as a Melodic Bass artist, Jay Bird officially converted to house music in 2021. With many nights out in SF's post-COVID dance music scene, it was only a matter of time before Jay Bird found a new love for House Music. This love quickly progressed into DJing venues throughout the city, opening for big-time touring artists and playing underground shows into the early morning hours. Already equipped with years of technical production skills, it was only a matter of time before Jay Bird started to produce his original take on the house music sound he was hearing throughout the city. Combining his melodic roots with a taste of both underground and mainstream sounds, Jay Bird now presents his unique version of house music that is gaining significant momentum after releasing with labels like Black Hole Records, Loudkult, artwrk, and Gahara. Jay Bird has accumulated over 5 million streams online and has performed shows alongside notable names, including Insomniac, Brownies & Lemonade, Habstrakt, Polo & Pan, Tube & Berger, Mitis, and many more. His music has landed him features on some of the biggest online EDM publications, including YourEdm and CULTR, plus he received repeated support from several touring DJs. Lastly, Jay Bird has been a regular on the lineups at the most frequented clubs in SF, including The Midway, Halcyon, 1015 Folsom, Public Works, and more. With all the momentum under his wings, Jay Bird is quickly soaring to the top of the SF scene and beyond.
