PEJ is a product of his environment. Born to a musical family with deep southern roots in Mcclellanville, SC. He grew up with an appreciation for the songs of his ancestors, memorizing the hymns of the churches his father preached in, to the music across multiple eras his mother nurtured him in as a music education major. 
 His love for music started with piano, following in his mother’s footsteps. His mind was always opened by the stories she told of all the great musicians in his family and Lowcountry of SC. In his heart he always desired to leave his footprint in the legacies of great artists. 
 With his first single Notes 2 Self pt.1, PEJ displays a level of transparency that artist tend to shy away from. His goal is to create music that changes and impacts the lives of everyone that hears it and encourages action!!
