Outlaw Boogie is the alias of Michael James Dent; producer and songwriter originally from the beaches of the south coast, now finally settled on the busy streets of London. Initially started as an excuse to write catchy indie pop songs back in 2012, Dent has been slyly crafting behind the scenes of various projects. Outlaw Boogie represents the music Michael James Dent always hoped to make; music that represents his personality. Outlaw Boogie ends 2021 with his new single 'Eyes Wired Shut', a track that playfully floats around the importantance of embracing new ideas and to not be completely cynical. Once again, the single was mixed and mastered by Alfie Tyson-Brown (Katy J Pearson, Lazarus Kane, Urkt). 'Eyes Wired Shut' is a single that Outlaw Boogie wanted to write so he could stop being so cynical. It's semi-autobiographical theme shares the message that whilst we may all be getting older, and slightly confused with new trends, it's better to embrace the new and to stop hanging on to the old. 'Eyes Wired Shut' is the next single to come from Dent's upcoming new EP, due for release next year, and is the follow up to Dent's 2021 debut release 'The Circle'.
