“All the different interactions, all the diversity.” Watty credits his his range in music to his upbringing. Whether it’s premier word play on songs like JAMES HARDEN, or melodic trap ballads like Pornstar; E Watty creates an escape route from reality with his music. 
 Born in Memphis, Tennessee the artists’ roots are poverty stricken and vengeful. At an early age E remembers having “a lot of built up, unexplainable anger.” He would take this with him like baggage, to all 5 of his childhood hometowns. 
 Memphis,TN Where it all started. Watty remembers spending summers with his dad, riding through the streets of North Memphis, seeing all the drugs, violence and destruction at a young age. “Straight from Memphis like I’m Elvis.” - Coach Watty He would develop a love for basketball at camps and workouts with his cousin at Rhodes College. Back then, E Watty’s father produced for an up and coming rapper named, G Nutz. As early as age 5, Watty would memorize the lyrics to all the songs his dad produced and spit them for friends; like they were his own bars. He would go on to record HIS first ever song at age 13 on his iPod touch. 
 Virginia Beach, VA E Watty credits the beach and surrounding areas (757) for developing his wild sense of fashion and music. From the abundance of Jordan retros, to full court pressure defense in basketball; E Watty was molded by the 757. Going on to study fashion at VCU, he would soon shift his focus to music and begin recording the Coach Watty mixtapes.
