Havana Karisse Golden Green is an Hip-Hop/ R&B Artist based in Edmonton, Canada. He is of Jamaican and Canadian descent, Karisse grew up in a broken home and would often go back and forth between his father and mother’s home, where he grew up listening to his father’s playlist of a lot of Hip Hop and Reggae, his Grandmother’s CD’s of gospel for when she took him to church, his Nanna and Babba (Grandpa) for their old school Pop which they grew up listening to, and his mother’s CD collection of R&B she had made over the years. Karisse is heavily inspired by the greatest artists to ever live such as the likes of Michael Jackson, Drake, 2Pac, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Etc. But also is inspired by today’s newer artists such as Polo G, Rod Wave, Lil Baby, Brent Faiyaz, Lil Uzi Vert, Etc. Karisse started taking music seriously after he met his longtime best friend/producer and engineer “Seriously Taylor” and dropped All the Riches back in 2020 and has been on the steady uprise catching buzz ever since. Karisse artistic traits are him really being able to do anything he wants and really able to step into any lane he chooses, whether that’s Pop, Dancehall, R&B, Etc which he’s displayed on his Second EP 4Ever Different but still knows his main sound which is the Gospel/Trap sound that people have grown to love, mixed with his singing and melodic sound & bar/storytelling lyrics and catchy hooks. At 20, Karisse has shown to have a amazing work ethic with a lot more on the way.
