Biography

Jack in Water (William Clapson) is a British alternative singer songwriter, producer based in Mallorca that reflects on various personal experiences from romance to childhood trauma through his music in an emotional yet hopeful way. In 2021 he released his debut album ‘You Don’t Feel Like Home’ including songs written with Justin Parker (Lana Del Rey, Bat For Lashes) and duo My Riot (Aurora, London Grammar). In 2022 he went on to release two EP’s. The first ‘You Once Were Home’ was a collection of reworks including collaborations with Lily Kershaw, Alaskan Tapes, The Last Dinosaur and The Prussians. The second ‘The Year We Lost’ were songs he wrote during lockdown in 2020 as gifts requested by fans and friends to give to their family and friends. In 2023 he released his sophomore album titled ‘Strangely Gone’. Will now explores romantic relationships and all of the muddy and confusing feelings that go along with it. In June 2023 he released a song called I’ll Wait which he wrote for the Amazon Studios film Culpa Mia which is now at over 2 million streams and part of his brand new EP I Left A Light On that came out before summer.
