Bigg Baby is West Chicago’s big boss the city has been waiting to hear from. Hailing from the center of madness on the west side, Baby’s triumphant story is based in tunnel vision and tenacity. Although it shaped him into the man he is today, he appreciates the unique perspective and finesse that his street education offers his business endeavors. Born to a mother who battled drug addiction, Bigg Baby spent the majority of his first year of life on the streets. After an egregiously revealing visit, his father took him from his mother and maintained full custody. His father introduced Baby to music at a young age and he fell in love with R&B. As he grew older, Baby even started writing poetry to get his way with the ladies in school. In 2013, Baby began spending time at his friend Jneal’s studio, which was a breeding ground for many rising artists. When one of the artists made a breakthrough, Baby was inspired to take a more serious approach to music. After a legal issue arose around music ownership, Baby realized that he didn’t know much about the industry and went on a mission to change that. In 2014, Baby enrolled in SAE Institute to study music business. Baby’s lawyer at the time recognized his work ethic and asked him to tour manage the Cool Kids. He took full advantage of the opportunity and the businessman went on to manage hot artists Z Money, Emone Quadeem and others. Emone pushed him to release his own music and the two are releasing a joint project.
