Tal Weiss is an Israeli singer-songwriter. Her debut album, backcaTALog, a selection of her recordings between 1999 and 2005, was released to rave reviews and was followed by a series of successful live dates in Israel. Tal’s 2nd album, Tal Weiss, was released to phenomenal reactions and to substantial international radio success, especially with her version of Tale From Black. Later, in 2009, Tal released Return Of The Native, a single for the acclaimed singles series Allergy To Consciousness. Comprised of original "minimalistic musical miniatures", Motion Drawing is Tal's new album. It was produced by Lior Suliman together with Tal. Three singles from the album were already released: Afar Alone, the album's title track Motion Drawing, (both singles feature exclusive Dub Mentor remixes) and The Little Things/Unsleeping Night. During 2012, Tal collaborated with Dub Mentor on a version of the Findlay Brown song, Losing The Will To Survive, and in 2016, they join forces again for a new, double single: Synaesthesia - a version of the cult classic by Chris & Cosey, and Angels - an original new song they wrote together. The arrival of a unique, intimate new voice… With Weiss less is definitely more. (Mojo) When it comes to minimalistic musical miniatures Tal Weiss certainly knows how to score. (BBC Radio 3) Original and unusual. (Terrascope)
