Khoree The Poet is a Contemporary Spoken Word Artist who gives performances containing a fusion of Spoken Word, R&B/Jazz and Song into what he titles a ‘Poetic Concert.’ Khoree’s poems are about uplifting, empowering and encouraging women to not give up on love and/or hope. His sensual style and delivery is fused with Jazz/R&B instrumental elements, accompanied by smooth background vocals. He’s created quite a stir with his deep Barry White toned voice, blended with an aggressive Teddy Pendergrass attitude and style of poetry setting him apart from other poets in the entertainment industry. He has often been compared to Babyface in his writing style. Most recently, Khoree has expanded into the Gospel genre. His hit single ‘Thank You’ featuring Lenny Williams is in gospel radio rotation around the country. He followed up with his latest Gospel recording ‘Raise My Hands’ featuring Latoya London produced by Levi Seacer, former Musical Director for Prince.
