Sela recorded his debut album 'Nerve Ending' alone in his attic, playing on all five instruments of his new indie folk project. Sela is the alias of Pete Saudek, Cleveland-based recording artist sewing melodic harmony through percussive layering and vulnerable lyricism. Shaded with ‘80s and ‘90s influences, Nerve Ending melds raw self-recording with flairs of structured indie pop, folk and rock n’ roll. Sela writes about his experience living with chronic pain, unraveling white supremacist culture and breaking up cyclical trauma. Sela writes and tours extensively with Cleveland-based collective, Mourning [A] BLKstar, and is beginning to produce on a handful of upcoming projects in the Midwest.
