Wesford, born Ricardo Valenzuela, developed a love for music at a young age. He grew up listening to a variety of music because his father too had a passion for it. His dad listened to all kinds of genres from the electric combination of funk disco music (Donna Summer, George Clinton, Rick James) Hip Hip/Rap (Snoop Dogg , Biggie Smalls 2-Pac), rock-infused music(Led Zeppelin ,Guns n Roses ) which later on led Wesford to develop his own passion for early house music. Inspired by artists like Richard Vision, Marc V and Poogie bear. these became some of his main musical influences. Today, this translates into his productions where he combines and infuses together all the pieces of music that he loves.
