Preeti Gajjar is an Indian origin renowned playback singer. She was born in Rajkot, Gujarat - India. Preeti belongs to family of artists and musicians. Music runs in her family since generations. Preeti started learning Hindustani Classical vocal at the age of 6 from her mother. She then continued learning various styles of singing (semi-classical, light vocal, ghazals, folk, etc.). Preeti predominantly sings in Gujarati and Hindi languages. Preeti used to participate in singing competitions while growing up. She has won several Gujarat state level singing competitions. Preeti has been awarded "Best singer of the year" by State of Gujarat and several other organizations. Preeti holds Masters degree in Performing arts (Hindustani Classical Vocal major).
