Biography

It all started in a garage in the south hills of Pittsburgh. The music production group, One800, spent 3 years working out of that same garage, primarily with My Favorite Color, where they learned and grew as musicians, songwriters, producers, and engineers. The influence they had on one another over that exclusive time period had shaped their individual ways of making music into something special. The collective found their first real successes with an unreleased project called, “Velma” and a few co-signs from the likes of names like Gary Vaynerchuk (Gary Vee), Quinten Cuff (Innerview Q), and Rostrum Records. My Favorite Color deciding to move back to Los Angeles, California, left One800 with an opportunity to start to expand their musical reach within the city of Pittsburgh; this spawned Pittsburgh City Limits. An idea to make an album of music with all kinds of different artists from the city was executed in 20 individual sessions at the infamous garage where we had each artist come over, one-by-one, sometimes meeting for the first time, to originally compose, write, record, produce, mix and master a brand new song with us. The entire process spanned almost 6 months, beginning the sessions in late June 2019 and lasting until the albums release on December 13th, 2020. Since the completion of the project, One800 has been working on a lot more music set to begin releasing late spring/early summer including some new artists. Stay tuned for more from this talented group. 🌏
