Suite 52 is the dynamic DJ and music production duo of New York natives Sean Traynor and Malcolm Laws-MacDonald. They first met in college, where they quickly bonded over their shared passion for electronic dance music, leading them to start DJing together. Over time, they discovered their mutual interest in music production and began collaborating on remixes and original tracks. Drawing inspiration from artists like Rufus du Sol, Adriatique, and Keinemusik, as well as labels like Afterlife, This Never Happened, and Anjunadeep, Suite 52 creates immersive and emotive electronic music that combines deep grooves with atmospheric melodies. Their sound is a reflection of their diverse musical backgrounds and influences, and they aim to blend their favorite styles of modern dance music to create a sound that’s never heard before.
