A. Haliburton (January 16th) of Nashville, TN, better known by his artist name (Uk) Tha Unknown, owner/founder of Dope South Productions. His inspiration in music came from his grandmother, who taught him to play the piano, he also wanted to play the drums so she put him in drum class as well. As he grow with playing instruments so did his talent of wanting to make music. With one of his biggest musical influences being Michael Jackson he learned to sing and tried to learn to dance. He took a great liking to the tongue twisting style of rap made famous by artists like Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony and Twister. After learning to rap and write lyrics he tried a hand at creating beats and producing, which lead to him opening the doors of his first record label Off Tha Chain Records. After running Off Tha Chain for a few years he decided to sale the company name in 2000 to a producer in Atlanta, Ga . Which lead to the creation of his two new labels Lock-N-Load Entertainment and Dope South Productions. “2 companies, 2 names, 2 different passion, 1 family.” After opening his new label (Uk) started traveling from state to state networking and pushing his own music looking to create a buzz for his music. Finally settling down in California he hooked up with producers from Tranzformerz Music Group/Universal Music Group/Track Martians Music Group. Producers like Jessica Bristol and Dj Komplex which is also a premier Coast 2 Coast Dj.
