From Midwest City, OK “Troy On 10” is a rising artist who is heavily influenced by faith based rap. The “10” is short for 10th Street which Troy was raised on for the greater part of his life. Troy On 10 growing up in a Christian household his earliest influences of music was Gospel. As Troy grew older his relationship with his father grew around music. His fathers love for 90’s R&B and Motown became strong influences to him. Troy has been able to use his music influences with heartfelt lyrics about his journey and overcoming obstacles to become the diverse artist that he is today. While his music doesn’t truly fit into one musical mold, Troy has brought velvety R&B with heavy bass. Also an energetic trap essence with conscious content and everything in between.
