After a 3-year hiatus, TAHA returns with a fully realized project entirely produced by himself titled THE FALL. While TAHA wrestles with similar themes of Islamophobia, mental illness, and toxic masculinity he does so in a more mature and forgiving manner. Feelings that were met with judgement and shame are now given light and courtesy, space to be free and seen. On THE FALL, he often greets these “past demons” with grace and even humor, as if they were an old friend. THE FALL invites listeners to greet and welcome some of their darkest sides and reminds listeners that they are not alone, or more importantly, do not deserve to be alone. With the accompany of Ermina’s angelic yet defiant vocals scattered across the project, Martin Chapman’s psychedelic and transformative guitar playing on Close Again, and explosive features from Colette March, MUDA!, Jxylen, and Eddie Saturn on the track SEND THEM OFF, this project takes listeners through a dynamic and thought-provoking experience across various genres such as hip-hop, industrial, jungle, and punk, making THE FALL a strong stand out in the alternative rap music scene. TAHA proves that discovery can be found through descent. That just because one is taking a nosedive, doesn’t mean it’s too late to pivot and find a way forward.
