NTÏV [native] is a Sámi underground pop artist who has been shaped by his Sámi cultural heritage and life in the industrial city of Luleå since childhood. Which has participated in the distinctiveness that NTÏV delivers. The genre of "underground pop" comes from a background in hip-hop and pop that has fused over the years with trance, rage and punk like the iron ore in the hometown's blast furnaces. It’s a fusion of worlds in music with an innovative ambition and without fear of dipping the toes in foreign waters.
