From the age of twelve, Devin Leonard Ray began writing songs and performing anywhere he could get an audience. Now an experienced singer/rapper, Dev Leone is ready to take the lead in the music industry with his unique flow, sharp and precise lyrics, unpredictable style and excellent stage presence. Born to two musically gifted parents, Dev’s talents prove to be no coincidence. He uses his eclectic style to showcase his musical background through various genres such as Hip-Hop, R&B, and even Pop. With talents that are easily compared to well-known artists such as Drake, Big Sean & Trey Songz, Dev uses his soulful melodies to incorporate captivating stories through upbeat songs about life and love to mesmerize the audience. Dev Leone came on the scene back in 2009 as the debut artist of Albright College’s Lion Records college label as D’Ray Sonshine. After an R&B release of “The Reflection” Dev has been fine tuning his craft releasing mixtapes and performing at clubs around the Philadelphia area. Dev Leone is also on the writing team for RCA Records, assisting the team with a variety of Rap and R&B lyrics. Dev’s 2017 solo Hip-Hop album release of “Emancipation” is under his label Ifodige Productions, Inc. / Honor Roll Hustle and features of some of Philly’s best upcoming talent such as Zero (currently featured on Tory Lanez upcoming album), A-1 Twig, John Mastermind Meyers and Philly Chase.
