Born in Rome (Italy), Alessandro Viale is an eclectic musician that believes in the artist as a well-rounded person, active in the society. After obtaining degrees in Piano, Composition, Conducting and Harpsichord (and one cum laude in Physics), he studied chamber music at the Scuola di Musica of Fiesole and then moved to London where he works at the Guildhall School of Music and at the Trinity Laban. Alessandro is particularly interested in contemporary music, which he performs regularly, divulgates and promotes. With the violinist Rebecca Raimondi he founded Ardorè Duo that, in its four years of activity, performed in many renowned venues and for important festivals. In 2017 they recorded a CD of David Collins’ Violin Sonatas for Sheva Recordings that received high praises on magazines. In his career, Alessandro has conducted orchestras and choirs, founded ensembles, played with hundreds of musicians, has been accompanist in National and International Competitions, won several prizes, collaborated with actors, composed a film soundtrack, played in more than 100 concerts every year, performed in many important music venues in UK and Italy, and participated in radio and tv shows; his music has been performed in all Europe by renowned musicians.In 2015 he recorded his first solo piano cd “Steps volume 5: Sixteen Scenes before a Crucifixion” with music by Peter Seabourne. This recording obtained great reviews in magazines like Gramophone, Piano News and Musical Opinion.
