Biography

Anie Alerte, Haitian born singer/performer, made her stage debut at the age of six while attending church in Haiti. In 2008, she participated in the Digicel Stars talent competition and won the second place prize. The exposure boosted her career and fans quickly took notice. She represented Haiti in numerous competitions, one being Winner of the "Schoolboy Podium", and won 1st place in 2009 in Guadeloupe "Challenge of the High School Students". Tabou Combo, Haiti's international Konpa band, have taking the young singer under their wings. Anie has been touring with them for the past two years at venues like Zenith in France, Prospect Park in Brooklyn NY, La Ferme Perrine, Martinique, and au Hall des Sports, Guadeloupe etc. Anie has been also touring with global producer Michael Brun “Bayo tour” (venues; Irving Plaza, Brooklyn Steel, Club Dada Tx, Aisle 5, Atlanta, GA, SoundBar, Orlando, FL,Paradise Rock Club Boston, and Théâtre Fairmount, Montréal, Canada etc). A few recordings and collaborations of Anie’s includes "Nou Fos" ("Vwalye" album) and "Pa pléré" a song by Zouk artist Medhy Custos, and “Se Paske M Renmen’w” from Haitian hitmaker TroubleBoy. Anie released her single and music video “Pi bon Zanmi”, a love ballot, which has captured the heart of the Haitian Gen-z generation.
