Now working mainly as a composer for film and television, Jim started as a guitarist and songwriter in Indie rock bands . He's written scores for many award winning short films and will begin scoring his first feature in 2024. He began on violin as a child before turning to guitar, piano and cello and draws from a wide variety of musical influences in his soundtrack and production music work.
