Born in the legendary scenery of St. Petersburg, in her music Anastasia is chasing a counterpart to that upbringing, the tribal sounds of rainforests that she will take back to the busy clubs of the cities. 
 Zems started her love affair with electronic music literally in the womb since her mom was working as a nightclub admin at the time. This natural ease within the electronic music arena can be felt in both Anastasia's DJ sets and production. 
 Coming from a musical family with training in singing, dance, and musical theatre, Anastasia makes music as automatic writing, letting her impulses lead the way, with no apparent goal, and with only a tidy workspace prepared. She will pour a cup of acid run over the tribal cereals switch the tempo up and down, but the instinct-led first-take vocals will always be there, making her a devotee to the process.
