Whether working to bring out the shine in others or himself, Canadian hip-hop artist B The Wiz uses his storytelling ability to create music with a positive message. The Thunder Bay multicultural MC has been working with the community to release music, organize hip hop shows showcasing Thunder Bay talent since 2015 as well as hosting studio sessions for the community since 2016. B The Wiz learnt how to organize shows while working with his Mentor Tilson in 2015 through 2017 and was supported on his journey which has left B The Wiz wanting to continue the tradition of being a pillar of support and role model that helps others. B The Wiz Since beginning to work on his craft, B The Wiz has found writing and storytelling to be beneficial for his mental health & an instrumental tool in combating depression and anxiety. These factors are shown prevalently through his writing style - B The Wiz’s music has prominent and powerful lyrics - oftentimes discussing themes like - spiritual awakening, finding our purpose & staying true to oneself. B The Wiz has performed 100+ shows, has performed for audiences at festivals and concert events as large as 400+ & continues to work towards his goals of releasing music and helping those around him to build themselves up.
