Justin Shin (he/him) is a California-based composer, arranger, orchestrator, and vocalist for games, film, and media. His music can be heard in award-winning games, recognized at festivals such as the Independent Game Festival, IndieCade, Games For Change, and more. A reflection of his eclectic tastes, Justin’s works traverse multiple musical aesthetics and genres, spanning from groovy, jazz-funk tunes to anxiety-inducing, synthetic soundscapes to sentimental orchestral themes. He draws inspiration from timeless Japanese composers such as Yoko Shimomura, Joe Hisaishi, and Yasunori Nishiki. In his free time, Justin plays JRPGs, tries on too many bucket hats, noodles on the bass, and explores new cafes.
