An 80’s kid, born and raised in San Francisco’s Mission District. There was no shortage of artistic influences growing up in the melting pot of the city. From the traditional murals and graffiti art that covered the landscape to the eclectic music scene of the Bay Area that spanned from the raw energy of Punk and the shared DIY approach of early Hip Hop, the visceral sounds of Metal and Hardcore to the ever growing palette of both uplifting and darker styles of Electronic Music. “I’ve worked on so many different genres of production from hip hop,house,trance,techno,ambient,industrial...the list goes on. The creation of music to me is an experience that is ever growing and ever giving. It gives me the ability to act on an instinct, emotion or specific thought ...or throw all the rules out and find the beauty within the chaos of randomization. Music production gives me that opportunity of experimentation and exploration. “ As a self taught musician and producer Devin Grey has worn many hats and had many monikers over the years stretching back to the early 2000’s.
