Cecilia is a Canadian artist and composer from Kamouraska in rural Quebec. Her multidisciplinary work moves freely between electro-acoustic composition, performance, and video. She develops a singular soundtrack between dark fairy tale and poetic recital, encouraging a memorial, introspective and hallucinatory listening, where organic and synthetic textures, documentary recordings and sound archives collide. Her approach to sound and music is visceral, emotional, and tactile, experienced intimately within the body. The voice is the center of gravity of her compositions and stage performances, guiding us through fragmented frescoes of her stories about loss, love, and the sacred. Her first  full lenth solo album Adoration was released in 2018 via Houston based label Halcyon Veil.  The 33-minute LP followed Charity Whore, a concept visual EP published on a limited DVD series with Grooming Label in 2017. Her latest project Summer in Sexilia was released in 2021 on London-based  Xquisite Releases.  Her upcoming album is awaited in March 2024.
