Imar Shephard is a talented young Jamaican singer songwriter who was born and raised in the sleepy hollow of Richmond Gap, Saint Thomas.Currently unsigned, Imar Shephard first found his voice as a young boy, toiling on the coffee plantations. Whenever the juvenile sang out those around him listened attentively, and Imar soon became head chorister in both Church and Youth Club. Moving to the bustling capital of Kingston in his late teens, Imar Shephard had decided to carve out a professional career in the music industry and so his musical journey began. With his first official single 'Woman I Need' being co produced by exemplary producer, dancehall artist Demarco . The rest as they say is history. Imar Shephard started touring internationally in 2015 clocking up performances across the Caribbean, UK and USA, the soulful Rastafarian can now attest to having performed at some of the most notable reggae shows across the world. About to release his second studio album, titled 'Morning Glory' Imar Shephard showcases collaborations with Nyahman Bushman, Princess Akua, Glen King & Rachaad Amarjii standing as testimony to the strength of brand Imar Shephard now in 2024.
