MARIEL BARREÑA: Singer, pianist and composer, born in La Plata, Argentina. Currently working on her new project "Mariel solo set" (multi - instrumentalist: Voice, piano, accordion, loopera, guitars, percussion etc, addressing a repertoire of her own songs and the popular Argentine songbook. Mariel's formal training came in Argentina, studying classical, jazz and popular piano, styles she has woven into her own unique approach to voice and piano. From a young age Mariel has shared recording studios and performances with luminaries from Andrés Beeuwsaert, André Marques, Juan Carlos "Montana" Fontana (Spinetta) Quique Roca, Adrian Martinez,”Tato” Finocchi, Mariano “tiki” Cantero (Aca Seca trio) and many more. She play, record and participate in different projects of renowned artists touring the most important stages and festivals of Asia Japan, Corea, Brasil etc. “Viva.
