In January of 2020, Petey Mac joined forces with Pulitzer Prize winner Ian Urbina for his ‘Peaceful Protest’ EP, a part of Urbina’s The Outlaw Ocean Music Project. Petey sampled Urbina’s field recordings that he collected while writing his NY Times Best-selling novel, The Outlaw Ocean, and fused them into two exhilarating tracks. The project has received praise from major media outlets including Pandora, NPR, Billboard, and National Geographic.
