Helmond-based Guitar player. Current Guitar player of Eindhoven folkrock-group Root. Former Guitar player for the alternative/ progressive rock-trio Alverman , founded in 2020 by Leon together with his brother Daan Konink and Wessel Jeuken. Alverman's music is best described as having a recognizable, yet unique sound, reminiscent of 70’s prog-rock, 80’s new-wave, and 90’s alternative music. They have had gigs at Poppodium Volt (Sittard-Geleen), Tivoli-Vredenburg (Utrecht), PopEi (Eindhoven), Grenswerk (Venlo) and given interviews at Radio Maastricht, Omroep Tilburg Radio, DitIsHelmond and SIRIS, among others. To top it off, Alverman released its debut album 'Turnaround' with a full-length release show at De Cacaofabriek. 'Turnaround' was made possible in part by the Makersregeling of the Municipality of Helmond and Kunstloc Brabant.
