Through a mixed of music styles ranges from ambient, post-modern rock to electronic music, and from the previous released two albums, R N S T has been producing music that expresses their unique musicality. R N S T is known for its unique choice of expressions and variety of music styles – such as its music progressing from elegant soundscape to irregular rhythms, having short and delayed phases that are carefully designed and incorporating extreme and emotional effect into the expression of their music. They also produce a wide variety of music – from songs, instrumental, improvising to long duration pieces. In their live performances, having a small team of three, they developed an evolving live music style that utilizes guitar, bass, rhythm machines, sampler, vocoder and various other equipments to perform a rearranged version of their music without limiting themselves to the originals. In addition, R N S T has a diverse music profile – they have made soundtracks for movies and background music for dramas. Their most recent work can be heard in the Konica Minolta Planetarium during the ‘Sky’ exhibition.
