Sofie Royer is an Austrian-Iranian musician and artist who produces her own songs. Her new single "Paris is burning", a duet with British-American singer-songwriter Alexander Dexter Jones, is out now and is the first track from her forthcoming third album on Stones Throw. The song follows Sofie's single "Mio" (2023), her sophomore record Harlequin (2022), and debut album Cult Survivor (2020). Sofie is an original member of Boiler Room, she had a regular NTS Radio show for 7 years and was a Rinse FM France resident DJ. While working at Stones Throw for 4 years she curated Sofie's SOS Tape for the label (2016), which featured her collaborations with Mndsgn including the song "Abeja". Sofie previously featured on Toro Y Moi's album MAHAL, opened for Lana Del Rey in Paris and has recently guested on Lewis OfMan’s new record Cristal Medium Blue, joining him for his European tour.
