Born in Rwanda then raised in Canada, Kazi drew to music at an early age of 8 years old. His parents were musically inclined and constantly played Soul, R&B, Disco-Rock, Reggae and Afro-beat in their household. He was first introduced to Hip-Hop by his uncle, who played him College Dropout by Kanye West. This album led to a deeper dive into Rap music. For the next 7 years, he studied the art and soon enough began crafting music.
