Biography

Meet Troy Mob, also known as Young Mobby whose real name is Samuel Billy Chizimu, straight out of Mzuzu, Malawi. He's been making waves in the hip-hop scene with his unique style and infectious energy. Back in 2020, he hit the stage with big names like Semi Tee and Eli Njuchi, even though he was just starting out. Troy Mob's journey began in secondary school, where he started rapping at church and doing freestyles in class. In 2021, he stepped up his game, joining the Mario Bros Tour with Crispy Malawi, Krazie G, and Ace Dirty. But his real breakout moment came with the song "Push," a collab with LaFlareBoi, 1Freshly, and China Chinese that blew up on TikTok and put him on the map. After getting back from school, he dropped the single "Mi Dawg" with China Chinese, keeping his momentum strong. He then delivered a killer verse on Brainlock Sticxs' album I'll Take It from Here on the track "Ndipatse," showing everyone his lyrical prowess. Troy Mob also made a mark in Chamba Cha Hiphop 7 by Mario Bros with the track "Osandipempha," collaborating with Lil Al and Jeff Nyimbo. Following this, he was featured on Krazie G’s album Envy Si Gate on the song "Dirty Flo" alongside Krazie G and K1 Smollet, with a beat by Horus Dem Bad. He’s also known for his sharp fashion sense, influence and viral TikTok videos, Young Mobby is more than just a rapper—he's a cultural force. Keep an eye on him; he's on the path to becoming the next big thing in the industry.
