Biography

Lipstick Killer, originally from Pittsburgh PA, has been rapping, writing and performing since the age of 12. She dropped out of her junior year of college and moved to Atlanta to sign a label deal that fell thru. She continued on in her pursuits, forming two other bands. One under the moniker, Rebella Rising, which gained local success in Kansas City. They won a local battle of the bands competition and became the opening act for Ariana Grande and MK2O at KC’s annual Red, White and Boom celebration. Her high energy and unpredictable performance style has been compared to HR from early punk pioneers Bad Brains. Her battle was always wanting the freedom to express herself thru rock and rap, not having to choose one or the other. Her early influences include Biggie, Jayz, Lauryn Hill, Nirvana, Greeday, Linkin Park and Red Hot Chili Peppers to name a few. She joins a handful of other acts naming trapmetal as their genre. She most recently released her newest project, The Black Dahlia, thru her family label, Urban Sixties Records. She is currently gearing up to release her second project, mixtape called “30 Dayz of Night”.
