Ndayishimiye Gerald, an East African recording artist, is also known as GN NEPHEW. Gn Nephew was born on February 9th, 1997. Gn Nephew was born at the Ngara Refugee Camp in Tanzania. Its name is Lukole Camp. He developed a passion for music early in life. Gn Nephew's father was the owner of the caset radio that he listened to nonstop. Gn Nephew stood out from the other kids even as a young youngster. He stayed close to his father while other kids walked outside to play while listening to the radio, which was playing music by many well-known artists, including Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, Big Fizzo, Lolilo, Bahaga, and many others. He has known since then that he is unique. Gn Nephew excelled academically in his class. According to the scale of grades, he was always a 1, 2, or 3. before the birth of Gn Nephew. His parents had to relocate all over the world due to a genocide that occurred in his nation in the years 1972, 1992, and 1994. He was born in Tanzania but has Burundian citizenship because of this. The Red Cross began helping refugees in 2006 and providing them with a passage out of the conflict zones. His family had the good fortune to be among the first to leave the camp and come to America in 2007. ( click for more)
