Biography

This young Emcee from San Jose, CA, has been making all kinds of noise in the local Polynesian music scene.
A Dough began writing as a means of decompressing inner frustrations, but over the years, this hobby began to transform negative aspects of life into positive self-expression. One of the driving forces behind A Dough's music is confronting the pressures of life by creating honest and transparent lyrics that truly speak to his audience.
His ability to deliver a flow like no other, paired with a melodic and catchy hook, makes A Dough one of the most genuinely talented artists today.
Now, backed by the up-and-coming Polynesian Powerhouse, A+ Family, A Dough has been dominating the island music airwaves from LA to New Zealand, unlike any other independent artist. His singles "Slow Down” (ft. the legendary Fiji), "Brown Love," and “Bad One” captivated audiences even before the June 8th release of his new album.
“Good Reception” is an extremely versatile album - it features a juxtaposition of R&B, Soul, HipHop, and EDM sounds - providing a little something for everyone. In the month following his album release, he has already headlined the stage for two spectacular performances, including San Jose’s annual Island Reggae Festival. He has several shows in the U.S. lined up, and recently performed in New Zealand and Australia! A Dough is truly a great candidate for a mainstream music crossover!
