Taylor Gray was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, where his family bonded through R&B music. Growing up during the TRL era, Taylor also grew an interest in the audiovisual and futuristic elements of music seen at the time by artists such as USHER and Janet Jackson. This forward-thinking approach has been what sets Taylor apart from other up-and-comers. In 2018, Taylor released his debut album TEO, which gained him notoriety as an R&B singer/songwriter/producer to watch. Soon thereafter, he was headlining shows for the globally recognized Sofar Sounds. In 2020, Taylor moved to Los Angeles to begin work on his next project, set for release later this year.
