Originally hailing from Lithuania and now based in the UK since 2005, Zulu RocOne is a producer who has been shaping the sound of classic, Golden Era Hip Hop since 2010. With a deep love for the genre sparked in 1995, Zulu RocOne draws inspiration from legendary artists like A Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, Cypress Hill, Wu-Tang Clan, De La Soul, Das EFX and many more. Utilising an impressive array of production tools, including the Akai MPC60II, MPC 1000, MPC 2kXL, MPC 2000, MPC One+, Maschine MK2, Emu SP1200, MV8800, Ensoniq EPS16+, Akai S900 & S950, and MicroKorg, Zulu RocOne crafts a unique sound that blends Boom Bap with the essence of underground and old school Hip Hop. His music is characterised by a raw feel that stays true to the roots of the genre while occasionally exploring new school sounds. Zulu RocOne's production style is heavily influenced by iconic producers such as DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Lord Finesse, Large Professor, The Alchemist and others. Over the years, he has collaborated with artists from around the world, cementing his reputation as a versatile and innovative producer. Also member of Lithuanian Legendary Hip Hop group M.I.R.A.Zh Squad, which was nominated as best Hip Hop group in Lithuania at first Lithuanian Hip Hop Nomination in 2005.
