Justin Evans is a guitarist turned singer-songwriter from London, Canada. Originally inspired by a video of Stevie Ray Vaughan playing "Life Without You" Justin picked up his brother's American Fender Stratocaster and began a journey through the riffs of the blues greats from Eric Clapton to B.B King. Soon thereafter Justin discovered the art of songwriting through artists such as James Taylor, John Mayer, Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell. It was with those influences that Justin starting attempting to write songs as honest, pure and poetic as his predecessors. Justin aims to write songs that combine the elements of blues guitar, folk story telling, and pop music energy. All the while he wants to create lyrics that are relatable and that evoke images and feelings in his listeners that can help them get through both the good and that bad times. He released his first EP "Stay at Home Son" in April of 2017. It consisted of songs he wrote when he was 18, . Currently he is working on new songs, playing shows, and hoping to get back in the recording studio soon!
