Dark North, born from the creative synergy of siblings Emily and Glenn Forsythe, traces its roots back to Ohio. Their musical journey led them through various countries and cityscapes before finally settling in Brooklyn, New York. Evolving over time, the band has seen multiple members contribute to its unique sound. Alongside bassist Michael Howard and violinist Ryan Stolte-Sawa, Dark North weaves a tapestry of atmospheric organs, vibrant guitars, and intricate harmonies, bolstered by Emily Forsythe's poetry infused old-style songwriting and evocative vulnerable voice.
