The first memory of music I have was in the back of my Dads Vauxhall Corsa. Being born to Indian parents who had 16 siblings in total, we spent many weekends travelling round the UK to visit them. Our car journeys were filled with Bollywood bangers & religious songs blasting through the speakers as we sat in the back playing Pokemon on the Gameboy Advance. I didn't know it at the time but I was getting a subconscious education in the art of melody. Growing up in Croydon, I was introduced to Grime and UK Rap. The 16 year old me would blast every song I could find while bicep curling 6kg in the gym. Over the years the weight didn't increase but my understanding of energy & authenticity in music did. Watching my cousin produce music and have it aired on TV inspired me to try take the ideas in my head and bring them to life.
